Kowalske Kitchen & Bath was hired to remodel this Pewaukee kitchen. The goal of the project was to make the kitchen open to the entire living space. The room was disjointed from the living room and the homeowner needed a better layout for entertaining.

The house sits up on a hill with a gorgeous view of Pewaukee Lake. A fake wall of cabinets completely blocked the lake view when entering the front door. It also obstructed the view from the kitchen to the living room. The end result is one cohesive space with views of the lake and all the interesting angles of the vaulted ceiling.

A unique feature of the space is the handmade accent tile panel behind the range from local artist Linda Lindner at Terra Domus Tile. It adds a pop of color to the space.

We installed recessed lighting to keep the field of vision unobstructed from the kitchen to the patio doors and living room. We removed the old tile flooring and replaced it with acacia wood flooring to match the living room.
