Lake Country Home Remodel
Kowalske Kitchen & Bath was hired as the kitchen and bath remodeling contractor to update the first floor of this Lake Country home in Nashotah, Wisconsin.
The project included renovating the kitchen, dining room, living room, master bathroom, laundry room and powder room. The home was outdated and didn’t meet their needs. They wanted a contemporary space with clean lines, natural flow and openness. We updated the space so the family would love their home for years to come.
Open Concept Kitchen, Dining Room & Living Room
The original kitchen configuration was awkward and didn’t match the homeowners’ contemporary style. We removed a wall separating the kitchen from the living room, creating one great room. The large island gives the family casual seating and features beautiful Skara Brea Cambria quartz.
This kitchen has some amazing high-end features:
- A Kohler pot-filler faucet
- A built-in Miele coffee machine
- Jenn-Air appliances
- A Galley Ideal Workstation and faucet
Lighting was key to making this space shine. The space is lit with recessed cans, a beautiful chandelier, elegant pendants, under cabinet lighting and toe kick lighting. This is a perfect example of how we layer lights in a room, combining many types of light fixtures to create the right look.
The fireplace was updated with an unpolished mosaic porcelain tile and wood mantel.
Spa-Like Master Suite
The master suite was remodeled and reconfigured. The end result is a gorgeous master bath. It has a spa-like glass shower, dual vanity and private toilet room. The highlight of the space is the marble/glass backsplash. The luxurious shower features a Kohler DTV digital showering system, rainhead, body sprays and steam generator!
Laundry Room & Powder Room
The old dining room near the front door was renovated and reconfigured into a new laundry room and powder room. This new layout better meets their everyday needs.
