Striking Hexagon Backsplash & Open Shelving
Kowalske Kitchen & Bath was hired as the remodeling contractor to transform this Wauwatosa kitchen. A young couple contacted us to remodel their 1953 kitchen in Wauwatosa’s Quarry Heights neighborhood. They disliked that their galley kitchen was closed off to the rest of the home. They wanted to update the oak cabinets and laminate counters. The end result is a bright white contemporary space with a stunning hexagon backsplash feature wall.
Open Concept
We widened the doorway from the kitchen into the dining room for better entertaining and openness. We moved the refrigerator to the back wall to make way for more cabinetry, storage and counter space.
Hexagon Tile Backsplash
This cramped kitchen is now bright with white shaker cabinetry and quartz counters. The highlight of this Wauwatosa kitchen remodel is the gray-blue hexagon backplash. Adding a tiled accent wall is a popular kitchen trend and a great way to add color and texture to a kitchen. The floating wood shelves were custom-made by MKE Cabinetry. Satin bronze finishes (hardware, lighting and faucet) complete the look.
