How We Keep Projects On-Schedule
How do we keep projects on track? Software! For all of our remodeling projects, we build an online schedule. When will your project start? When will it end? And what’s going to happen in between? We put all of that information online so you aren’t left guessing. And when it’s online for everyone to see, it holds us accountable to keep projects on schedule.
What is Design Build?
There are many business models in the remodeling industry and some create better results than others. With the design-build system, you – the homeowner – work with a single company who has full responsibility over the entire construction project – the design, the material ordering, and the construction.
Modern Wetroom Bathroom Video
Kowalske redesigned this bathroom, turning the awkward layout of this Pewaukee bathroom into a bright and modern wetroom. The beautiful, functional space has a larger shower, bathtub and two separate vanities. This project was featured as the COVER story of KBB Magazine!

What Is It Actually Like to Remodel Your Home?
Most of our customers have never remodeled before and have no idea what to expect. Maybe you’ve watched a remodeling show on HGTV, but let’s walk through what actually happens during your renovation and what you need to be prepared for.
What is Your Remodeling Process?
There are 3 main steps in our remodeling process: 1 – the design phase, 2 – project development, and 3 – construction.
Before & After: Traditional Kitchen Remodel Video
The goal was to create a more open, family-friendly space for a couple who loves to entertain. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room to bring in more natural light and connect the rooms. A large island provides seating for the family and guests. A walnut kitchen island and built-in coffee bar compliments the greige cabinets along the range wall. Functional elements include deep drawers, a workstation sink and walk-in pantry. Beautiful elements make this transitional kitchen shine, including a zellige tile backsplash, matte black hardware and walnut detail on the hood.

Construction Drawings: The SECRET to Success
Once you sign a contract, we turn your floor plans and 3-D renderings into detailed Construction Drawings. These construction drawings help our team ensure accuracy, and communicate the remodeling plan to everyone involved in the project. The documents include detailed instructions about demo, framing, electrical, plumbing, hardware, cabinetry and much more! Collaboration with our team is a huge part of a successful project and these documents are where the magic happens.

Nature-Inspired Kitchen Timelapse | Green Cabinetry
The kitchen was cut off from the rest of the home with numerous walls and hallways. A two story fireplace chimney blocked the best light in the house. The goal was to create a more open, family-friendly space. We removed the fireplace and added new windows to bring in more natural light. A large island provides seating for the family and guests. Green cabinets, with a modern slim shaker door, connect the kitchen to this home’s outdoor wooded lot. An appliance garage, storage niche and workstation sink add functionality. The dining room, now connected to the kitchen, has a play bench under the windows with storage space for toys underneath.

Kitchen Remodel Timelapse | Bold Black Kitchen
A small 1940s Wauwatosa kitchen with oak cabinets didn’t fit the young homeowners’ style. They wanted a sleek, black and white kitchen that maximized the space. We reconfigured the layout and widened the doorway into the dining room. The new window backsplash floods the kitchen with sunlight. A stunning accent wall features hickory shelves and glossy black stacked tile. A mirrored toe kick on the island creates an illusion that the flooring continues underneath, making the space feel bigger. An empty corner was converted into a cozy breakfast nook. Black and white custom cabinets with storage organizers, new lighting, and a workstation sink add functionality.

Before & After Kitchen Video | Modern Farmhouse Kitchen
Creating an entertaining space was the top priority in this kitchen remodel. The homeowners wanted seating and counter space for hosting parties and watching sports. By opening the dining room wall, we extended the kitchen area, adding an island and custom-designed furniture-style bar cabinet with retractable pocket doors. The design of this kitchen is modern farmhouse and thoughtfully uses pattern, color and texture. The marble backsplash has subtle shades of golds and grays that complement the cabinetry, wood accents, shiplap and hardware. Other features of this kitchen include the new awning window overlooking the backyard and numerous in-cabinet organizers.
