General Remodeling Questions
The design-build remodel method means that one company provides the design and construction services, all under one roof. Kowalske has in-house designers and a construction crew.
With design-build, we are one team of experts that works together and keeps your project streamlined and moving along efficiently. This means open lines of communication and a straight-forward approach. The team works together to foresee any issues during the design and planning stage to avoid any additional expense and keep the project on track.
Design Build streamlines cost by providing a single company that oversees the entire project from concept to finish. A design build team works together to design a space, purchase materials, stay in budget and execute the construction. The alternative option is the design-bid-build approach, which forces the homeowner to find subcontractors and materials themselves. Bidding and dealing with multiple contracts can easily lead to frustration, high costs in labor, subpar materials and a tremendous amount of wasted time.
Generally, it takes 6-8 weeks to remodel a kitchen. For projects that are more complicated and involve moving walls or structural issues, it might take longer.
Generally, it takes 4-8 weeks to remodel a bathroom. For projects that are more complicated and involve moving walls, mechanicals or structural issues, it might take longer.
