The team at Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is excited to win 3 ‘Remodeler of the Year’ awards! The Milwaukee National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) presented these awards on January 5, 2023. We won these prestigious awards for a first floor interior and two kitchen remodels. We have won numerous ‘Remodeler of the Year‘ awards from NARI Milwaukee, including 13 Gold awards since 2019.

Walnut Cabinet Kitchen Remodel
Gold Award
Residential Kitchen $200,000+
This 1991 Oconomowoc kitchen was no longer meeting the needs of this retired couple. The home sits on a gorgeous lake in a large home, yet the kitchen was small and cramped. The homeowners wanted a larger space with more storage and seating where they could also entertain. We enlarged the kitchen by opening the wall to the dining room. The design includes traditional walnut cabinets, walnut and maple inlay floors, cremone bolts and a carrara marble herringbone backsplash. Now the kitchen has plenty of functionality with two islands, two sinks, and a desk/beverage station.

English Cottage Kitchen Remodel
Silver Award
Residential Interior $250,000 – $500,000
The owners of the 100-year-old English cottage – empty nesters who love to cook and host family and friends – came to us because their kitchen was crowded. We transformed the too-small Oconomowoc, WI kitchen into a masterpiece of pure elegance. With a new folding door that opens to the porch and backyard, we gave them a light and airy space perfect for entertaining. This kitchen features a white oak island and built-in hutch, a hidden walk-in pantry, and a corner workstation sink with two faucets. Beautiful finishing touches include handmade tile, shiplap walls and brass hardware.

Milwaukee Condo Kitchen Remodel
Silver Award
Residential Kitchen $100,000 – $150,000
A retired couple wanted to remodel the kitchen in their condo, located in the heart of Milwaukee. With cheap cabinets, and minimal storage, the kitchen didn’t feel like the family home for hosting holiday dinners. To create a warm and homey space, we chose leathered granite countertops, wood, glass tile, stone, and brushed bronze finishes. The design fits this modern condo with sleek hickory cabinets in a skinny shaker door paired with taupe cabinets. Unique features include a wine cubby and a dishwasher drawer under the workstation sink. A warm, modern design – perfect for holiday entertaining.
