Modern Farmhouse Kitchen

Gold Award

$100,001 – $150,000

Creating an entertaining space was the top priority in this kitchen remodel. The homeowners wanted seating and counter space for hosting parties and watching sports. By opening the dining room wall, we extended the kitchen area, adding an island and custom-designed furniture-style bar cabinet with retractable pocket doors. The design of this kitchen is modern farmhouse and thoughtfully uses pattern, color and texture. The marble backsplash has subtle shades of golds and grays that complement the cabinetry, wood accents, shiplap and hardware. Other features of this kitchen include the new awning window overlooking the backyard and numerous in-cabinet organizers.

Contemporary Bathroom

Gold Award

$50,001 – $75,000

The clients contacted us after purchasing their first home. The house had one full bath and it felt tight and cramped with a soffit and two awkward closets. They wanted to create a functional, yet luxurious, contemporary spa-like space. We redesigned the bathroom to include both a bathtub and walk-in shower, with a modern shower ledge and herringbone tiled walls. The space evokes a feeling of calm and relaxation, with white, gray and green accents. The integrated mirror and oversized backsplash complement the minimalistic design so effortlessly.

Basement Remodel

Gold Award

Under $100,000

The homeowners were talking about remodeling their basement for years. A sudden job change to ‘work from home’ was the catalyst for this project. They needed a home office and a space where their kids could hang out. The goal was to turn their dark, cold basement into a bright, warm extension of their home. We designed this basement to be functional, organized and contemporary. They now have a dedicated home office, a cozy family room, a bathroom, tidy laundry room and storage room. This basement remodel expands their home, providing them with functionality and warm and cozy living space.

White & Woods Kitchen

Gold Award

$60,001 – $100,000

The homeowners wanted to connect their 1930s kitchen to the rest of the home. It was small and closed off by a warren of rooms and hallways. The goal was to create a space where they could bake and cook as a family. We reconfigured the layout for a larger, more open and efficient footprint. The new design is timeless and fits the charm of this 1930s home with white shaker cabinetry, a farmhouse sink and traditional woodwork. It features a maple hood as a focal point, high-end appliances, an appliance garage and matte black finishes.
