Accessible Bathroom with Zero Entry Shower

Zero Entry Shower | Oconomowoc

A couple contacted us to remodel their Oconomowoc bathroom. They wanted a design for aging in place. The top priority was to add a zero entry shower or what is called a curbless shower with no barrier. The end result is a beautiful accessible bathroom that incorporates universal design features.

The old bathroom had a large bathtub that the couple did not use. Also, they had little storage space. We reconfigured the bathroom for better functionality.

Now, this Oconomowoc bathroom has clean lines, stunning mosaic accent tile and satin bronze hardware. Other features of this bathroom include heated floors and a new linen cabinet.

Walk-In Curbless Shower with Bench

This accessible bathroom has a large zero entry shower with a bench. The curbless shower will allow the homeowners to age in place. The shower has a wide door, bench seating and a handheld showerhead. Small tile on the shower floor and grab bars will prevent slips. A sliding barn door provides easy access to the bathroom from the master bedroom.

Curbless showers are one of the top design trends in bathroom design. Many homeowners are realizing the beauty and convenience of a zero-entry shower.
