Kowalske designed this primary bathroom addition on Okauchee Lake to have a stunning view of the lake and spa-like amenities. The old bathroom was smaller, outdated and didn’t match the homeowner’s design style. They wanted a contemporary space with updated features and a refined color palette.

Highlights of this Okauchee Lake Bathroom: 

• Contemporary Primary Bathroom – The room includes a steam shower, heated bubble massage air bath, double vanity and a makeup vanity. The bathroom is light and bright with shades of blue on the cabinets and in the tile veining. Warm wood elements tie the space together in the cabinetry detail, shelving and wood-look tile wall behind the vanity.

• Steam Shower – The bathroom addition includes a large steam shower with a rainhead and handheld showerhead. The wall tile has large blue-gray veining that ties in with the navy vanity.

• Makeup Vanity – A custom makeup vanity with natural light is the perfect spot for getting ready. Navy inset cabinets are paired with a warm wood countertop. A wood door with reeded glass adds a pretty touch to the cabinet. 

• Bedroom Updates – Overlooking the lake, the primary bedroom is full of natural light with a wall of windows and a patio door leading onto the deck. The room has a vaulted ceiling with beams, new paint, trim, chandelier and hardwood flooring. A new walk-in closed was also part of the addition.

• Sitting Room – A warm and moody sitting room off the primary bedroom has a TV, fireplace and built-in cabinets.
