Two 1940s Bathroom Remodels
Kowalske Kitchen & Bath transformed two 1940s bathrooms in this cape cod home, located on Nagawicka Lake in Delafield, Wisconsin. The goal was to restore the historic beauty of these two bathrooms with carrara marble basketweave flooring, beadboard, custom cabinetry and quartzite countertops. We worked with the homeowner from concept through completion, ensuring every detail was perfect.
- 1940s Shower – The walk-in showers feature subway tile, Kohler fixtures and custom glass doors.
- Tile Flooring – Carrara marble basketweave tile was chosen for the bathroom flooring of this arts and crafts cape cod home.
- Lighting – The home features beautiful etched custom lighting
- Countertops – The quartzite countertops are unique slabs with large gray veining. The same countertop was used in the kitchen of this home.
- Plumbing Fixtures – Victorian-inspired Kohler faucets fit the style of this 1940s home.
- Custom Vanity – Traditional inset cabinets were chosen for the vanity cabinets.
- Millwork & Molding – These 1940s bathrooms have three-panel doors, traditional beadboard molding, glass door knobs and and custom cabinet hardware.
