Cabinetry Keeps Evolving

It’s a fact. Bathroom and kitchen cabinetry needs to be durable and accessible, as well as be able to maximize or organize storage. But you also want cabinets to create an atmosphere that can improve mood and personality. KBIS opened up a whole cupboard-full of ideas, looks and functionality that we can use to make your home a true one-of-a-kind.

Fluting Details

Under the heading of “everything old is new again,” KBIS helped us rediscover the art of fluting. Beautifully found on English cut glass from the 16th century, today’s designers have elevated fluting to decorative detail on furniture, tables, cabinetry, and more. Fluting adds depth to flat surfaces making them more dynamic and engaging, adding a touch of elegance and luxury to your décor.

Bathroom Trends at KBIS 2025

From wellness-focused oases to efficient, minimalist designs, there’s endless ways to add personality to a bathroom. Wallpaper, tile, lighting, hardware, color, soothing materials, unique shapes — KBIS offered-up stunning new ways to blend modern innovations with timeless elements to deliver the ultimate in comfort, functionality, and beauty for today’s homeowners.

Bathtubs are Statement Pieces

If we had to choose one word to sum-up bathtub options on display at KBIS, it would be “indulgence!” There were cold plunge tubs, freestanding soaking tubs, whirlpools and jets, tub and shower combos, high-tech smart bathtubs, and more, in an array of shapes, styles and materials. They all reflected the growing importance of the bathroom as a place for self-care and indulgence!

Our Favorite Plumbing Fixtures at KBIS

There’s an amazing blend of modern aesthetics with advanced functionality in today’s plumbing fixtures. Touchless and smart faucets, high-tech showerheads, smart toilets and bidets, matte, brushed, brass and gold finishes, water-saving and eco-friendly fixtures, wall-mounted faucets and more. KBIS exhibits focused on an enhanced user experience while conserving resources and elevating the overall style of any kitchen or bath.

Lighting is Jewelry

We certainly lit up when we saw all the lighting design trends at KBIS 2025 using a combination of technology and energy efficiency with style, comfort and convenience. The right lighting — whether it’s smart lighting, statement or sculptural fixtures, minimalist and sleek designs, warm ambient lighting, vintage or retro, layered or linear lighting, pendant or multi-light fixtures — can elevate any space making it more functional, stylish and inviting.

Storage Trends

One thing we hear a lot at Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is that there’s never enough storage space in client kitchens or baths. Now, combining our own ingenuity with impressive new storage solutions seen at KBIS 2025, we can help you maximize space, improve organization, and enhance accessibility while ensuring the new storage areas blend seamlessly into the overall good looks of your rooms.

Unique Hardware at KBIS 2025

It may seem like a small detail in any kitchen or bath design, but hardware can make a major impact on the style, usability and quality of your cabinets. At KBIS, we saw an incredible mix of shapes, looks, and materials — everything from mixed metal finishes to matte black hardware, wooden knobs and pulls, even leather, jute, ceramic, glass and crystal. Let Kowalske Kitchen & Bath help you pick the right trend to fit your personal style for a cohesive, polished look.
